30-Day Limited Warranty
DiamondIdeals' Certified Diamonds must meet or exceed your expectations. If you are not completely satisfied, we are pleased to offer a 30-Day, unconditional return policy on most purchases (see Returns/Exchanges for return exceptions).
Limited 30-Day Warranty. DiamondIdeals warranties all merchandise against defects in manufacturing and workmanship. DiamondIdeals is not responsible for those items subjected to excessive wear, abuse, or physical damage whether accidental or otherwise. Additionally the insurance and protection of your merchandise is solely your responsibility, and DiamondIdeals shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or resulting damages whatsoever that may occur, even during the 30-day warranty period. Security
DiamondIdeals uses state-of-the-art technology to protect against loss, misuse or alteration of user information. Secure Socket Layers (SSLs) encrypt the information sent between your computer and our database. To be sure you're browsing secure pages, check your Web browser's status bar (located at the bottom of the window) for the closed padlock icon. This icon appears in the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator to tell you that you are viewing a secure Web page. Also, all browsers display an "s" after the "http" (https://…) in the Web site address to indicate that you're in a secure environment.
In order to avoid fraudulent use of your credit card we will only ship to the billing address of your credit card.

Returns/Exchanges
You have a 30-day item inspection period, starting the day you receive the diamond via Overnight Service. If you have elected to appraise your stone prior to purchase, the full money-back inspection period will be 10 days.
- At any time during your inspection period, you can exchange or return your diamond to DiamondIdeals for a full refund.
- All standard mountings will be refunded in full during the 30-Day Refund Period (10 Days if pre-purchase appraisal is used) minus any shipping fees. Check the details of this exchange policy on the details page of the jewelry you have selected or with us directly.
- Most custom and semi-custom mountings will be refunded at 80% during the same period. However, some custom designs will have no money-back guarrantee because of sizing or setting specifications. Check the details of this exchange policy on the details page of the jewelry you have selected, by email or by calling us.
To return your item(s), you must call DiamondIdeals at 1-866-IDEALS-0 (1-866-433-2570) for a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping details.
All returns must be sent via US Postal Service Registered Insured Mail at the customer's expense. Insure the package for the full value of your purchase. Clearly mark the RAN on the outside of the box. Upon receipt and inspection of your undamaged returned item(s), full credit, less our initial shipping and insurance costs, will be issued, either as a credit toward another purchase or as a company check.
All materials must be returned in their original condition, including the original Lab Reports. If the Lab Report is missing, a $200 charge will be assessed and deducted from your refund.

Certified Diamond Lifetime Upgrade*
If at any time you want to upgrade your DiamondIdeals Elite Selection Ideal Cut Diamond purchase, we will be happy to accept it for the full purchase price as credit for the purchase of a diamond that is at least $1,000 more than the original diamond's invoice price. Shipping the original diamond to DiamondsIdeal will be at the customer's expense. Please note that all materials must be returned in their original condition, including the Original Lab Report. If the Lab Report report is missing, a $200 charge will be assessed and deducted from the full purchase amount. The inspection period on upgraded diamonds will be 10 days.
*Settings are not included in this upgrade policy.

Sales Tax
DiamondIdeals is located in New York State. We are required to collect sales tax for purchases delivered in New York State. New York State sales tax does not apply to merchandise delivered outside of New York State.
We do not collect sales tax for other states. If sales or use tax is applicable in your state it is solely your responsibility to contact your state's local tax authority to comply.

Payment
The vast majority of our customers prefer sending a bank-to-bank wire transfer or a certified check. Bank-to-bank wiring is as easy as certifying a check and offers the convenience of clearing within a few hours. Please make sure that we receive the net amount due and that any fees your bank charges are paid at your end. As soon as your payment has been received, we will ship out your purchase (sometimes even the same day).
Although we prefer wire transfers, you can pay using a personal or certified check. These take approximately 5 business days to clear once we have received them. Please make all checks payable to DiamondIdeals.com. We cannot accept endorsed checks. Shipping will be delayed until the check clears.
For your convenience DiamondIdeals also accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. DiamondIdeals accepts some foreign credit cards. Please contact us for payment arrangements. Wire transfer is preferred when paying for purchases made from outside of the United States.
Diamonds Ideals does not charge extra for using a credit card.

Shipping
DiamondIdeals offers FREE NEXT DAY shipping via UPS on all diamond orders to all US destinations including Alaska and Hawaii. All orders are fully insured in transit. For all non-diamond jewelry or settings with no center stone, we will determine the shipping cost based on the value of the item.
Please be sure that an adult who is authorized to sign for your package is available at the designated shipping address.
We will not deliver to a P.O. Box.
DiamondIdeals' insurance coverage ends the moment the package is delivered to you. Please make sure that you do not have a signature release on file with UPS. If you do, the package may be left on your doorstep, deemed delivered and it will NOT be insured against loss or theft.
If you have any questions regarding shipping or delivery, please contact us. If you do not reside in the United States, please contact us for shipping information. Shipping costs for other countries will depend on the country and the value of the package. Exact shipping costs outside the US will be provided at time of purchase.
Please inspect your merchandise upon receipt. If the box is damaged, open it in the presence of the UPS Delivery person. All packages are insured for loss or damage. If there is any damage to the merchandise please call us immediately at 1-866-IDEALS-0 (1-866-433-2570).

Insurance/Liabilities
All items shipped from DiamondIdeals are insured for their full value until UPS delivers them to you. Once delivered, you are responsible for the merchandise. You agree to accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the merchandise, whether the damage is caused by you or by another, or by any other known or unknown cause, and whether or not such cause is under your control, from and after the point of delivery to your location and up to and including the return to and receipt by DiamondIdeals of the merchandise in its original condition.

AGS Lab Reports
Every DiamondIdeals Elite Selection Ideal Cut diamond over 0.30 carats comes with an American Gem Society Laboratories Diamond Quality Document. This report also mentions the laser inscription on every diamond.
All Sourced diamonds are accompanied by a grading report from a recognized laboratory.

Appraisals
We recommend that you have your diamond appraised by an independent appraiser. This appraisal, while costing a small amount, will confirm that you have made the right choice in purchasing your diamond from DiamondIdeals.
You may choose to have your diamond(s) sent to an independent appraiser prior to purchase. We will send your stone(s) to an appraiser of your choice, provided they are accredited and follow industry standards. You will be responsible for the shipping and insurance charges incurred. If you choose to have your stone(s) appraised prior to purchase, the full money-back inspection period then becomes 10 days from the date of purchase.

DiamondIdeals hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free and are not "blood diamonds", based on personal knowledge and/or based on written guarantees provided by the suppliers of these diamonds.
